Datuk Ir. Ts. Dr. Mahadi Mohamad

Datuk Ir. Ts. Dr. Mahadi Mohamad is Executive Director of Green Growth Asia Foundation (GGAF), bringing extensive experience in public policy, engineering, investment facilitation and sustainable development. He supports sustainability and circular economy initiatives through partnerships among government, industry, educational institutions and communities.

His career includes consultancy with the Asian Development Bank on public–private partnerships and investment facilitation, alongside regional cooperation through the Indonesia–Malaysia–Thailand Growth Triangle Joint Business Council. He previously served as Special Officer to the Prime Minister of Malaysia and Chief Executive Officer of Menteri Besar Incorporated Kedah, overseeing infrastructure, renewable energy and investment portfolios.

He holds a PhD in Crisis Management, engineering qualifications from Germany and a Master’s in Sustainable Development Management from Sunway University. He also completed executive training in circular economy at Cambridge Judge Business School and certification in climate and renewable energy finance through the Frankfurt School–UNEP Collaborating Centre.

He is fluent in Malay, English and German.
